As of today, there's a new fandom on my fan fiction site, The Fandom House! Wallander! So far there's one story, but there will be three more once I've had time to translate them. The stories are based on the Swedish version, but naturally they will all be in English on that version of the site. There's also one wallpaper based on the UK version and several based on the Swedish version.
This
is my Chronicle page, with one fic.
I'd like to warn any potential readers that this fic doesn't conform to
most people's expectations of a Brokeback Mountain fic, though it's as
sad as the movie. If you think you'll mind, don't read it, but if you
want to take a chance, here
it is.
New week, new fic... Here's my American Dreams fic. Read the rating and the warnings, it's the equivalent of NC-17.
I thought I'd take this chance of introducing some of my fanfics. Usually I only post them on my own site, but sometimes I post a few on fanfiction.net (and FanWorks.org) and I thought why not show them off here too?
If anyone's interested you'll find my fic here.
I finally managed to finish an original story. If I could only write every day (or rather night) I'd feel a lot better. I only wish I'd get round to finishing my novel. Why is it so hard? I suppose I'm afraid I'll ruin what I've already written. All I need is a sort of start. A couple of sentences to set the right mood. Usually I manage to think of something much sooner. I'm afraid that if I don't get it finished soon, it will never happen. It's just going to be pointless.
This is nothing new, I know, but I think it's quite interesting that dreams can be inspiration for fiction. In my case, it's happened a couple of times already. Once, it was a horrible nightmare (which might not sound quite as horrible if I recounted it), that turned into a short horror story (which is extremely rare for me - normally, I neither read nor write horror). In fact, thinking back, I think most of my ideas based on dreams, have been horror or at least scary. One reason might be that those dreams stand out, which makes me remember them. On the other hand, I once had what was (at least when I woke up) nothing more than a scene, but that one scene turned into a fantasy story. I can still remember how it felt to be 'there' - where I witnessed the scene. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to work all that into the story, but I was quite happy about it anyway.
This is the sad story of my latest Robin of Sherwood fic. I was writing it on my mom's old computer, because mine had already packed it in. Suddenly, literally in the middle of a sentence, her computer died too. I had already written a third of the story and now it's stuck on a computer that isn't working. The good news is that I'm pretty sure I can get the info out (which would be great, since some of my mom's original fiction is on that computer too), and when my constantly busy sister can find the time to help me, she'll get it out for me (and mom). In the meantime, I've been avoiding RoS, hoping I won't be forced to rewrite the whole story. And I love RoS so. :)
At last. I'm writing again! Well, sort of. I'm blogging and I just wrote a fanfic, but hey, it's something. My brain was withering so I'm really happy I finally managed to get it working again. And fan fiction is so much fun. :)
